A blessed week of training with Dr. Jeff Crotts and Co-elder Peter Johnson of Anchorage Grace Church in Alaska. Dr. Jeff took the class through his book, “Expository Illumination.” Peter Johnson used 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Alexander Strauch’s “Biblical Eldership” to teach the biblical criteria for church leadership.
Dr. Jeff emphasised the importance of relying on the Holy Spirit for effective preaching, whereas Peter Johnson emphasised the importance of Biblical qualifications for church leadership. Both teachings gave vital insights for men who want to improve their understanding of ministry and leadership within the church.
