Shepherds Conference
A team of three from Malawi headed to Los Angeles for the TMAI International Symposium and Shepherds Conference in early March. On Monday, the team had several hours of meetings with other TMAI training center leaders from around the world. We had the privilege of hearing from TMAI’s president, Dr Mark Tatlock, updating us on the latest from TMAI and reminding us of the task of training faithful leaders for the local church in each of our contexts.
Classroom Building Project Underway
One of our long-term goals is to relaunch formal pastoral training at CAPA. This requires us to go through the process of Registration and Accreditation with the National Council of Higher Education (NCHE).

Alumni interview
“CAPA is not just there to train you to become a good pastor or good preacher. No, CAPA is also there to help you have the correct understanding of your own salvation and how you’re supposed to live as a child of God.”
Kennedy Kwenda CAPA Alumni
“This is the greatest need we have in our country: preachers and teachers of the Word of God who can teach the Word correctly. But how can one teach correctly if he or she has not been taught correctly? …CAPA is the answer to the need!”
Abel Sauti-Phiri CAPA Alumni
“My first desire was to learn Greek and Hebrew, because I want to teach my fellow Malawians how to study God’s Word, present it, and live it out.”
