One of our desires for the upcoming year is to increase the training we do outside of Lilongwe. We need to take good teaching to pastors in more remote areas, and we hope to build interest in the formal training that we are working towards at CAPA.CAPA organized an Expository Workshop in Kasungu District (two-hour drive from Lilongwe city) that was hosted by Pastor Kennedy Kwenda, CAPA alumni (2019). The Theme of the workshop was “the word of God and the Man of God”; Pastor Kondwani Nyanda spoke on the “sufficiency and Authority of Scripture” (2 Timothy 3:16-17) and Pastor Emmanuel Mpeni spoke on “the Character of the Man of God” (1 Timothy 3:1-7). 24 Church Leaders attended the workshop and had wonderful time from the teaching of God’s word, Q & A and Fellowship. At the end, they received a book “God’s Design for the Church” by Conrad Mbewe which we believe will be helpful in their ministries. We pray that these Pastors and Church leaders will stay Faithful to the Scriptures as they teach and lead their church.
